Odessa as a Ukranian fashion capital, fashion weeks and shows in Odessa.

South Palmyra inspires many of us for doing great things at the summertime. So it didn’t surprise - Holiday Fashion Week made its dobut last summer this place. This year Odessa for four days again became the centre of ukrainian fashion - exactly this town has most concentrated quantity of not only designers, but stylish visitors as well for square meter.

Thanks to organizers’ efforts I. Danilevskaya and V. Neshiporuk, besides traditional hot periods in fashion industry (March and October) we have new one – summer. Increasing number of participants designers and registration this event in the international fashion-calendar are indicators of Holiday Fashion Week making progress. Beach wear and other kinds of fashion in 2008 were determined by designers from Great Britain, Bosnia, Ukraine and Russia.

All the participants observed the democratic atmosphere of event, in spite of serious preparation and excitements of designers. Non-official fashion show format and places of shows were the factors of creating natural free mood of Odessa’s fashion week. Concert-hall “Sadi Pobedi”, yacht-club and “Tropicana beach” became the podiums for clothiers and accessories of best designers.

Also guests had many surprises. One of them was the Malibu Beach Party, organized by one of the event sponsors Malibu – official drink of Odessa Holiday Fashion Week.
